April 2023, Kenesma self-published her third book, Through Her Eyes: The Untold Stories of Black Motherhood. This book is a collection of stories written by Black mothers who are out here doing motherhood and excelling at it, yet their stories are unheard or untold. This book highlights Black mothers and their knowledge of mothering that is so often overlooked. I hope that when you read this book, either as a mother, expecting mother, still deciding, or not wanting to be a mother, you take away great stories and experiences of Black mothers.
